PERMISSIONS CHARACTER INFO | PM TO PLOT
IN CHARACTER PHYSICAL AFFECTION | Zhao isn't a very touchy guy, but he won't reject physical affection that comes his way from anyone he likes even a little bit, he's just unlikely to initiate it.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE | Yes please, haha. In the Yakuza universe literally anyone will throw down in the street for the flimsiest of reasons, Zhao is pretty chill so he's not going to start many fights, but he absolutely will entertain them, and he's definitely going to be weirded out by any setting where they're not happening around and to him all the time. (And I do enjoy writing fight threads, so hit me up if you also do and we can brainstorm!) He's an excellent combatant hand-to-hand or with a saber, but he's still at a mostly regular human level (with some allowances for Video Game Logic.)
RELATIONSHIPS | PLEASE. Zhao is more likely to look for friends with benefits than actual relationships, but I love getting messy with it and playing out accidental deeper feelings is my jam, so hit me if you're into that too. He will only be interested in characters at LEAST 20+ though, because he's in his 30s.
INJURIES OR DEATH | Open to injuries, let's plot! Maybe not death right now though, will update later if that changes.
MIND READING/CONTROL | Go for it! Zhao has no defenses against it.
OUT OF CHARACTER WRITING STYLE | I usually default to prose in non-network/texting threads, but I have no problems matching brackets and if you'd prefer to write with brackets just go for it.
ASSUMED CR | I'm down for assumed CR! If you're canon familiar and just want to start a thread with assumed CR going go for it, I'll PM with any questions if I have them. If you want to brainstorm, shoot me a comment or a PM and I can help with either AUing Zhao into other universes, AUing other characters into the Yakuza universe, or just smashing two universes together.

BACKTAGGING | I work third shift, so I rely on backtagging as I can only boomerang between like 1AM-8AM. If we have multiple threads going at once though I may drop the oldest one if my tag load is getting too big, hit me up if you'd like to handwave anything specific happening.
THREAD HOPPING | If the meme allows for it (or if we're in a game), absolutely go for it! I love spontaneity in RP.

LOOKING FOR | Generally interested in characters 20+ for anything shippy (open to all ages for Gen though!), would love to play with other criminals/shady types, or more straightforwardly heroic characters who can stomach his criminal past (alright, and criminal present lmao.) Zhao himself goes for people capable of incredible violence (even the Do Gooders), and characters who have a lot of ambition or chutzpah. He enjoys needling at characters who are easy to rattle, and will occasionally latch onto characters who just want to be left alone because he finds their reactions to him amusing. He also enjoys nerding out over cooking, fashion, shopping and video games, so anyone with similar interests is naturally going to catch his attention.

YES PLEASE | 🙏 My soul for some Party poly (down for both everyone's dating everyone, or just everyone's dating Ichiban if that's more to your tastes.) Speaking of, Zhao/Ichiban! Also Zhao/Joongi, Zhao/Seonhee, Zhao/Saeko, Zhao/Tesso (does anyone even play Tesso PLEASE I BEG!!!), and TBH, any other RGG characters in general even ones he's never met (which is most of them, but shh.) Also I love crosscanon shipping, I'll give it a go with anyone from any medium as long as they don't fall into the next category.
NO THANKS | Not interested in shipping with anyone underage, not interested in playing any noncon on either side with Zhao, not interested in playing Zhao as a Mob Boyfriend to a Totally Pure and Innocent Boy/Girlfriend (just not my jam), not interested in BDSM lifestyle dynamics (like master/slave, petplay, strict social Dom/Sub roles, etc.)
